This project started as a remodel but ended up very similar to a new custom build. The client had an existing property but was not happy with the ceiling height or layout. After reviewing the structure we learned that the roof system was trussed and required no interior walls, so we lifted the roof a foot and redesigned the entire interior to her specifications. This all necessitated a full deconstruction of all existing systems, insulation, and finishes, much of which we managed the donation to local people or recycle centers.
